Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, head of Iran’s Seminary received Dragan Todorović, Ambassador of Serbia to the Islamic Republic of Iran at his office in Qom on Monday, August 15. During this meeting Senior Shia scholar appreciated the support and activities of the Serbian ambassador and his delegation in approximating the rich cultures of Iran and Serbia.

The Serbian Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Dragan Todorović also praised Ayatollah Arafi's honorable services in seminaries and stated, “Your efforts in promoting divine knowledge are a source of pride for all free men of the world.”

In another part of this visit, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Islamic Republic of Iran presented a brief report of his trip to different cities in Iran, especially the Yazd province and the city of Meybod as a surprise and expressed that Iran is the most hospitable country in the world.”

He pointed to the deep political interactions between Iran and Serbia and said,” With the new government in Serbia taking office, we are seeking to strengthen economic cooperation, promote trade exchanges and strengthen economic diplomacy of the two regions.”

In addition, Mr. Todorović presented a report on 18 scientific, cultural and sports programs for the development of relations between the two nations of Iran and Serbia and said, “The Embassy of Serbia in the Islamic Republic has established extensive cooperation with Iranian Embassy in Belgrade in line with the development of cooperation and the activation of mutual capacities. “
