Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Husseini Qomi, made some remarks on Wednesday, August 11 during a ceremony for Imam Hussain (PBUH), which was organized by the cultural-religious delegation of Amir al-Momenin (PBUH) during which he said, "Religion requires faith, in the event of Ashura, people who repeatedly wrote letters to Imam Hussain (PBUH) eventually they left him alone.”

He continued,” But some of his friends became his helpers without even writing a letter to him. In fact, our belief and religious knowledge should increase in order to reach perfection and happiness in life.”

Hujjat al -Islam Husseini Qomi emphasized,” Ashura was the peak of virtue and vice. On one side were the pure and heavenly people and on the other side were the evil people of the world.”

He stated that at the beginning of Ashura movement, Imam Hussain (PBUH) invited everyone; He said,” In Medina and Mecca, he invited people to come with him to Kufa, but many did not join his cause, in fact, their level of faith was not enough to be able to understand the reality of his movement.”

The speaker of this ceremony went on to say,” Many people separated on the way to Kufa, and then many people separated in Karbala, and in the end, only those who were religious, knew the Imam of the Ummah and did not leave him alone remained with him and fought to their last breath.”
