Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al -Islam Jamal Ghodrati, A seminary professor said in an interview with Hawzah News in Kurdistan,” Imam Hussain's (PBUH) uprising was one of the most significant events that corrected the path of Islam and did not allow Islam to deviate from its main path.”

Hujjat al-Islam Ghodrati added,” Ashura Movement is a progressive school, which can be seen as a symbol of the progressiveness of the religion of Islam; being progressive in the sense that Ashura demonstrated that Islam, in addition to being a religion of mercy and kindness, is against oppression and Oppression can never be tolerated.”

He said,” Even today, after nearly 14 centuries have passed since the Ashura uprising, we should not allow this matter to be distorted by the enemies. On the one hand, the Baha'i movement wants to turn the Karbala movement into a pressure mechanism against our Sunni brothers, and on the other hand, the Wahhabis and movements aligned with it seek to distort the philosophy and pillars of this uprising, so as a discerning Muslim, you must always be careful. These are dangerous and delicate conspiracies intended against Shi'ism.”

The professor of Kurdistan Seminary said,” The uprising of Sayyed al-Shohada (PBUH) showed that Islam can never keep silent in the face of cruel and arrogant powers.”

He pointed out,” Nowadays young people are hungry for Ashura teachings. The young generation must reach Hussaini passion and awareness to confront the adversaries and opponents of Islam.”
