Prominent scholars of Bengal state, under the chairmanship of Maulana Siddiqullah Chaudhary, Minister of Public Education and Library Services of Bengal State, India, met with the Deputy Coordinator of Pilgrimage Affairs of Qom Governorate at the sacred shrine of Lady Fatima Masuma in Qom on Monday, July 4 (PBUH).

Hawzah News Agency- Prominent scholars of Bengal state, under the chairmanship of Maulana Siddiqullah Chaudhary, Minister of Public Education and Library Services of Bengal State, India, met with the Deputy Coordinator of Pilgrimage Affairs of Qom Governorate at the sacred shrine of Lady Fatima Masuma in Qom on Monday, July 4 (PBUH).

In this meeting, the two sides discussed about issues such as stressing the commonalities between the two countries of the Islamic Republic of Iran and India, the proximity of religions, the connection between the two nations as well as emphasizing the religious commonalities that bring the two nations of Iran and India together.

Maulana Siddiqullah Chaudhary, Minister of Public Education and Library Services of Bengal State, India, made some remarks during the meeting and highlighted the love of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) among the Muslims of this country and expressed their devotion to the Holy Imams (PBUT) as a basis for the expansion of bilateral ties between the two countries. He also pointed out that such cooperation would lead to promoting accurate knowledge about the Islamic Republic of Iran among the Indian Muslims.

Abolqassim Moghimi, deputy director of the coordination of pilgrim affairs of Qom governorate, also pointed out the extensive cultural links between Iran and Indian subcontinent , and considered these meetings to be the basis for extensive cultural exchanges and added, “ such meeting will promote full and correct introduction of Iran and neutralize the false propaganda portrayed By the western media in the minds of the Muslims around the world ; furthermore, the friendship between the two nations and Muslims will be boosted as a result of such bilateral ties.
