Hawzah News Agency – Hujjat al-Islam Mustafa Muhami, the representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in Sistan and Baluchistan province made some remarks o American human rights claims during a commemoration ceremony for Iranian martyrs on Sunday July 3 coinciding with the anniversary of the American aircraft carrier attack on the Iranian passenger plane. While honoring the memory of the martyrs Hujjat al-Islam Muhami said, "Man has a special place in the collection of Islamic knowledge, as well as the Quranic verses and traditions, there is a large volume of discussion is in this regard.”
Muslim cleric further added, “Allah Almighty created man and taught him the truths of the universe, and then asked the divine angels to tell him these truths, but the angels replied that we do not know anything unless you taught us, and then Allah almighty asked Adam (PBUH) to teach them and in this way he showed the superiority of mankind over the angels.”
He continued, “Human society has gathered together and prepared a charter under the title of human rights, the level of which is very different and lower than what is in the system of Islamic teachings.”
The representative of the Supreme Leader in Sistan and Baluchistan province considered the level of Islamic teachings to be higher, more real and more advanced compared to Western human rights and stated, “In the Islamic education system, we have a higher level of human rights compared to the one approved by the United Nations, and the main point here is that the international written charter is not followed. Some people take advantage of the UN charter and are content with just merely shouting beautiful slogans and words, and it should be determined how those who claim human rights have performed in their case.”
He concluded, “When we look at the series of history and martyrs of terror in Iran, we find that America and global imperialism have been directly or indirectly involved in all such crimes, and these assassinations are not exclusive to Iran; The American crimes have been committed in different countries, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria, but despite all these crimes, they are still not ashamed of their false claims and chant the slogan of supporting human rights in the media.”
