Hujjat al-Islam Ghodrati emphasized that insulting the Holy Quran is an insult to the holy beliefs of other divine religions as well; “Unfortunately, not only insulting the sanctities of other religions in Western countries has been increasing in recent years, but also none of the government officials in Western countries condemn these insults and shameful acts.”

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Jamal Ghodrati, a professor of the Kurdistan Islamic seminary had an interview Hawzah News reporter in the city of Sanandaj on Monday, July 4 during which he elaborated on the issue of blasphemous insults on divine books including the holy Quran and said, “The principle of modern civilized man's life is to respect others as well as the faith in other divine religions.”

This Kurdistan seminary professor added, “However, it can be seen that in western countries that claim to be law-abiding, all kinds of insults and threats are raised against other divine religions, and insulting the Holy Quran is the most obvious example of the falseness of the their democratic slogans.

Hujjat al-Islam Ghodrati emphasized that insulting the Holy Quran is an insult to the holy beliefs of other divine religions as well; “Unfortunately, not only insulting the sanctities of other religions in Western countries has been increasing in recent years, but also none of the government officials in Western countries condemn these insults and shameful acts.”

This seminary professor further noted, “The Western governments’ silence in the face of such insults against Holy Qur'an proves their false propaganda around the world.”

Pointing out that the Holy Qur'an will never be harmed by such insults, he emphasized, “The words of the Holy Qur'an are so well-founded and strong that any distortions and insults against it will be ineffective, However, Muslims are worried about why we should witness such insults in countries that claim to be civilized and democratic.”
