Advisor to President in Ethnic Groups and Religious Minorities Affairs Mamousta Abdul Salaam Karimi stated that Islam revolves around science, culture, and knowledge and said "In the Islamic Republic of Iran, there is no such thing as a first or second class citizen and there is no difference between followers of ethnicities and religions."

Hawzah News Agency- Mamousta Abdul salaam Karimi, Iranian President’s advisor on the efforts of religious minorities made some remarks on Monday, June 27 during a meeting of the Kurdistan Province Cultural Council and said, "Islam, contrary to what the West and the Americans claim, is free of violence, because this religion always revolves around science, culture and knowledge."

Adviser to the President on the affairs of ethnic and religious minorities further noted, "Islamic principles and instructions are all based on scientific principles and this religion has never sought to prove itself by sword or force."

He continued, "We must show the true unity and oneness of the Shia and Sunni brothers in practical sense in society, and make optimal use of both committed and specialized forces."

Referring to the need to use young people in the management of the country, Mamousta Karimi added, "Religious scholars and teachers are considered as a beacon of Islamic society, so the responsible institutions should identify the problems of these respected characters and try to solve them."

Adviser to the Iranian President on Ethnic and Religious Minorities, noting that in Iran there is no such thing as first or second class citizen and no difference among ethnicities and religions, noted, “Contrary to all biased analyzes carried out by Iran’s enemies, It should be well-understood that religious diversity is not a threat to the system of the country, rather cultural and religious differences can be influential in forming a powerful Iran.”
