The Bulgarian ambassador also stressed the need for cultural and tourism development between Iran and Bulgaria and added, "Due to insufficient knowledge of the cultural and tourism capacities of the two nations of Iran and Bulgaria, in addition to diplomatic relations, the two sides must also try to boost cultural and tourism ties."

She further pointed to the familiarity with the rich culture of Iran around the world and said, "Iran’s rich literature, 7500 years of civilization, registration of many historical monuments in UNESCO and famous Iranian poets have had a good impact on the world culture."

Nikolina Stefanova Kuneva stated that the cities of Iran, especially Isfahan and Kashan, are very attractive for the people of Bulgaria in terms of their rich civilization and history; therefore, in order to attract more tourists, cultural attractions of other Iranian cities should be introduced to the whole world as well.

The Bulgarian ambassador, stating that she entered Iran as an ambassador in 2020, clarified, “Considering that the Bulgarian people talk more about Persepolis and Isfahan historical monuments and are not familiar with other historical places in Iran, it is necessary to inform them about the historical and cultural capacities of other cities in Iran.”
