Hawzah News Agency- Sayyed Ahmad Bukhari, Friday Prayer Imam of Delhi, India attended a meeting with the authorities of Lady Masuma (PBUH) holy shrine in Qom on Friday ,March 20 during which he stated that the relationship between Iran and India is not related to present or recent past, rather it goes back to ancient history.

Commenting on his deceased father’s remarks, Sayyed Ahmad went on to say that his father was persistent and sensitive about the relationship with Iran, and I am in Iran today to expand that old and strong relationship.

Friday Prayer Imam of Delhi further noted that all Muslims are related due to their monotheistic beliefs, but the relationship between India and Iran is a deep-rooted relationship adding, Iran is the only country in the world that strives for the unity of the Islamic world; therefore I am very grateful to Iran for these unifying efforts.

The Friday Imam of Delhi added, we see how much the Iranian people and officials sympathize with Muslims around the world as well as the Muslims of India, and I deeply appreciate these expressions of sympathy.

Sayyed Ahmad Bukhari continued, today, in this holy shrine of Lady Masuma and with the blessing of this pilgrimage, I pray for all the oppressed people of the world and I ask almighty Allah to solve the problems of humankind with the blessing of this holy place, and I ask you to join in this prayer for the problems of Muslims.
