Hawzah News Agency – The commander of the faithful, Imam Ali peace be upon him says:

إذَا مُلِئَ البَطْنُ مِنَ المُبَاحِ عَمِيَ القَلْبُ عَنِ الصَّلَاحِ.

'When the stomach is filled with [even] permissible food, the heart becomes blind to goodness.'
