Hawzah News Agency – Imam al-Sadiq peace be upon him says:

كَمْ مِنْ نِعمةٍ للَّهِ على‏ عبدِهِ في غَيْرِ أملِهِ، وكَمْ مِنْ مُؤَمِّلٍ أملاً الخِيارُ في غَيرِهِ.

'How many a favour Allah grants His servant without him having expected them, and how many a hopeful one entertains high hopes when [Allah's] choice favours others.'
