The US blocked the official website of al-Nujaba | Official reaction of the movement

In a statement, al-Nujaba reacted to the blocking of a website belonging to the movement’s headquarters by the United States Department of Justice.

Hawzah News Agency - According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California blocked and confiscated alnujaba.com, the movement’s website, under the command of the Department of Justice as a part of Washington’s sanctions policy against al-Nujaba.

This hostile move comes as the United States Congress, the Department of State, and the Department of the Treasury have previously enacted strict sanctions bills and directives against al-Nujaba and Hujjat al-Islam Akram al-Ka’bi, the movement’s secretary-general.

In response to the new hostility by the United States Department of Justice, al-Nujaba issued a statement asserting that the aforementioned domain was legally owned by the movement and that its confiscation was illegal.

The statement assessed the decision of the Department of Justice as in line with other organized efforts by Washington to increase pressure on the Islamic Resistance and to impose a media boycott on al-Nujaba.

al-Nujaba emphasized: “The Americans continue their crimes of suppressing freedom and silencing others; despite the flimsy power they boast of having.”
