Hawzah News Agency - Hezbollah offered on Wednesday condolences over the demise of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, member of Iran’s Expediency Council and senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

In statement, Hezbollah Media Relations Office praised the late scholar for his sacrifices he had offered in the sake of proximity of Islamic branches and schools of thought.

“He was a senior figure of the Axis of Resistance through his thoughts and firm stances,” the statement said.

“Ayatollah Taskhiri was a role model of a scholar who performed Jihad and worked hard in his days and nights,” the statement added.

Stressing that it is of Hezbollah’s pleasure to have a brotherly relation with Ayatollah Taskhiri, the Resistance movement offered condolences to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, religious references along with seminaries and the family of the late scholar.
