Mosques in Ain El-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp closed to prevent spread of COVID-19

A medical team from Hamshari Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society also conducted a PCR sampling campaign among all the contacts at the headquarters of the Joint Palestinian Authority.

Hawzah News Agency - After UNRWA’s statistics have revealed 13 new coronavirus cases at Ain El-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in Sidon, the Islamic forces, in coordination with the Health Committee and the Joint Palestinian Authority, decided on Friday to close all of the mosques inside the camp with the aim of preventing the spread of the virus.

A medical team from Hamshari Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society also conducted a PCR sampling campaign among all the contacts at the headquarters of the Joint Palestinian Authority.
