Iraqi holy shrines’ custodians, AQR chief custodian stress joint cooperation against coronavirus

In separate telephone calls, the custodians of the holy shrines of Imam Ali (AS), Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Abolfazl (AS), Imams of Kadhimiya (AS) and Imams of Askariya (AS) congratulated AQR chief custodian, Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, on the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Imam of Shia Muslims, describing the situation in Iraq and especially the holy shrines’ activities in the fight against the virus.

Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad - Iran) - The birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) has become a reason for the custodians of the Iraqi holy shrines and the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi to have a phone conversation and stress over the expansion of bilateral and multilateral interactions and cooperation.

In separate telephone calls, the custodians of the holy shrines of Imam Ali (AS), Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Abolfazl (AS), Imams of Kadhimiya (AS) and Imams of Askariya (AS) congratulated AQR chief custodian, Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, on the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Imam of Shia Muslims, describing the situation in Iraq and especially the holy shrines’ activities in the fight against the virus. AQR chief custodian, in turn, recounted his establishment’s measures in preventing the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

Expressing his satisfaction over the hospitality of the holy shrines of Iraq on such occasions, Hoj. Marvi conveyed his regret on the failure to receive them in person due to the restrictions caused by the global pandemic.

Given the appointment of Dr. Haider Al-Shammari, the custodian of the Imams of Kadhimiya holy shrines while maintaining his current position to the Iraqi Shiite Endowment Diwan, the AQR chief custodian congratulated him on the new post and stressed the need to promote cooperation between Iranian and Iraqi holy shrines.
