Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - “We need to prevent parallel operations and promote collaboration with the aim of increasing productivity and developing scientific and cultural activities,” said Hoj. Mohammad Hassan Mahdavi Mehr, the chairman of Astan Quds Razavi’s Scientific and Cultural Organization (SCO) during a meeting with Hoj. Hassan Vahdati Shobeyri, the president of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences.

Mahdavi Mehr, among a group of deputies and faculty members of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences stressed the necessity to strengthen the intersectoral relationship between other departments of AQR and the SCO.

“Given the new structure and specialized classification, different AQR departments should interact with this organization and other parts, so that the hidden scientific and cultural capacities will emerge and will be translated into action,” he stated.

Noting that SCO is to provide scientific and cultural connections for different sections of the holy shrine he said: “SCO has been created to meet the scientific and cultural demands of AQR, so this sense of responsibility will increase its capacity and roles in various fields. To that end, Razavi University of Islamic Sciences and the Islamic Research Foundation should aid this organization.”

He called for an educational management department at Razavi University and, adding: “This university should embark on training a specialized educational manager and by obtaining a license from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, present an educational management discipline.”

Elsewhere he underscored the need for cooperation between SCO and the Khorasan and Qom seminary schools and the Al-Mustafa community.

At the beginning of the meeting, Hoj. Shobeyri, the president of Razavi University presented a short history of the university and its capacities, expressing the demands set forth by students, deputies and faculty members of the university.
