AQR holds thanksgiving ceremony for reopening Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine

Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, the renowned religious source of imitation, in a video message, while appreciating the custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, praised the efforts made to provide the conditions for reopening the doors of the holy shrine.

Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - A ceremony to appreciate the reopening the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) was held in the presence of a group of servants and health defenders. It observed presentation of a message from Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi along with a sermon and the replacement of the flag of the holy dome.

Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, the renowned religious source of imitation, in a video message, while appreciating the custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, praised the efforts made to provide the conditions for reopening the doors of the holy shrine.

“One of the issues that should never be forgotten is that people ought to visit the shrine with all the necessary health precautions and observe the necessary minimums, so that others can also find a chance to visit the shrine,” he said.

He expressed his gratitude to God for providing the conditions for holding this glorious ceremony, saying, “I am participating in this spiritual ceremony from afar, and God willing, this glorious ceremony will be held with goodness and virtue and we are all grateful for these services. Here we pray that God will keep us alive, take our lives and revive us in the hereafter for the blessing of the guardianship.”

Next, Hajj Meysam Motie, a eulogist of the Infallible Imams (AS), praised Imam Reza (AS) and then expressed gratitude for resuming the service in the holy shrine, while Mohammad Movahed performed the sermon.

A speech by the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, playing Naqareh, changing the flag of the golden dome, as well as honoring the families of the health defending martyrs and a number of medical staff involved in the handling of coronavirus were other programs of the ceremony.
