Hawzah News Agency – The commander of the faithful, Imam Ali peace be upon him says:

غالِبِ الشَّهوَةَ قَبلَ قُوَّةِ ضَراوَتِها؛ فإنّها إن قَوِيَت مَلَكَتْكَ واستَقادَتْكَ‏ ولَم تَقدِرْ على‏ مُقاوَمَتِها .

'Take over the desire before it becomes ravenously strong, for if it is empowered it will control you and lead you, and you will not be able to resist it.'
