Hawzah News Agency - (Beijing - China) - Iranian Ambassador to Beijing, Mr. Mohammad Keshavarz Zadeh, speaking on the commemoration of the World Quds Day said Palestine is the most important issue for the Islamic World. Beijing
According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the commemoration ceremony being held on cyberspace, was attended by a number high profile personalities from Iran and China.
The Iranian Ambassador to Beijing commenting on the issue said the holy Month of Ramadan is the most important month for the Muslims and in the holy Quran and traditions, there are lots of references about importance of this moth for the Muslims adding the in fact Ramadan is the most Important month and Palestine is the most Important question for the Islamic World.
He said it is quite clear for everyone that the Palestinian Question is not a question only for the Palestinians themselves and it is far more than that because the Zionist regime is established on the land of Palestine in order to create a frontline for Arabic - Zionism programs.
Keshavarz zadeh said the late Imam Khomeini (RA), in an effort to defend the rights of oppressed people of Palestine called for mobilization of the Muslim World in support of the Palestinian Cause and declared the last Friday of the holy Month of Ramadan as the World Quds Day.
Iranian Ambassador to Beijing thanked the Chinese government for its position toward the Palestinian question and said Beijing has never neglected the rights of the Palestinian people and has emphasized the need for securing their rights and also objected transfer of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to the Holy Quds.
He concluded his speech by saying that during this dear time of the holy month of Ramadan we hope that through the unity of the Islamic Ummah and their resistance against the expansionist policies of the Israel and the United States we witness the liberation of the first Qibla of Muslims and freedom of the Palestinian people.
Then the Iranian Cultural Attaché to Beijing Mr. Abbasali Vafaee talking about the importance of the Quds Day prom Imam Khomeini"s perspective, said the Iranian Islamic Revolution has always been alongside of the oppressed Palestinian people.
He added the wise Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei like his mentor has always talked about Palestine and whenever other tried to put the Palestinian Question to oblivion, the Supreme Leader by his enlightening advice has stop them and in various occasions and areas defended the Palestinian people who are suffering in hand of the Zionist Israelis.
He said world Muslims commemorate annually the World Quds Day named by Imam Khomeini (RA) in defense of the Palestinian nation on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
A Chinese expert on Middle East affair, Wofo Goe speaking at the same conference said each year on the World Quds Day designed to voice support for the Palestinian people I wonder that what else can be done to bring peace for the Palestinians.
He said the Quds Day by expressing Support for the Palestinian People urges a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian questions based on respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
Talking about the nomination of the Quds Day by the late Imam Khomeini (RA) he called for Muslims from across the world to safeguard the Islamic Unity and support for the Palestinian People adding that this same day will determine the destiny of the Palestinian people.
He said on behalf of Chinese scholars, I hope that the Palestinian problem to be comprehensively once and for ever to be solved and the holy Quds to be returned to Palestinians because reaching peaceful coexistence is in the interest of both Israel and the world Community.
Another Chinese scholar Ni Shiu said the question of Palestine is occupation of Palestinian people"s homeland by Israel and Israel is like a virus for whole humanity adding that the Quds day warn us that by disregarding this virus, we will be annihilated.
He said Palestinian question is closely linked with our destiny and the settlement of this questions requires coordination and help of whole world.
A Chinese Muslim Scholar Ma Shito called for support of Palestinian people on Quds Day and said so far the criminal attacks by Israelis against Palestine has continued and even worsened and every day or month we are witness to several atrocities against the Palestinian People adding what is surprising is that the United Nations has remained deaf and blinded to the barbaric crimes and atrocities carried out by Israel against the Palestinian nation and so far has not said a single word in condemnation of such savage policy by Israel, something quite contrary to the Principles of this world body.
Ma Shitu went on saying that the Holy Quds is the spiritual home of world Muslim community and we will not remain silent about the destiny of this holy city and will continue our resistance till liberation of Palestine and the holy Quds.
This Chinese Muslim scholar said our government has always supported the rights of the Palestinians and called for establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty.
