Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - Upon the martyrdom of Major-General Qassem Soleimani, a servant of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, Hoj. Ahmad Marvi the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi offered a condolence message to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. The text of the message reads:

Greetings to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei

I would like to offer my deepest condolences on the martyrdom of Major-General Haj Qassem Soleimani, the courageous and renowned commander of Islam and the servant of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine who was the real epitome of resistance and jihad in the cause of God; also my condolences on martyrdom of Haj Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, the brave leader of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces and those accompanying them, to the Imam of the Time Hazrat Mahdi (AS), to Your Excellency and to all supporters and sympathizers of the bright line of resistance and those serving the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

Major-General Soleimani’s unrivaled devotion and gallantry remind us of the courage and self-sacrifice of Muslim combatants in early years after Islam, such as the great commander Malik Ashtar. Our great man of jihad and resistance found his long-lasting wish of martyrdom granted and he joined his fellow combatants in the abode of the blessed on a night which is special for spiritual meeting with Imam Hussein (AS).

Losing Soleimani the Great is a big loss for the world of Islam and for humanity as well. Humanity owes security and freedom from the claws of Takfiri terrorism to Soleimani and his fellow combatants’ self-sacrifice. The scope and extent of Major-General Soleimani’s jihadi efforts and initiatives in the light of guidance by the powerful Leader of the Islamic Revolution brought to failure the evil plots of the US and Zionist regime during all these years. This neutralized the so-called Middle East Roadmap which meant to give birth to an American Mideast and Muslim nations remained integrated in warding off the evil shadow of US-Israeli-sponsored terrorism.

The US rapacious forces committed the crime in revenge of Daesh defeat to please Zionist child-killer hoodlums, but Your Excellency’s good tidings on taking severe revenge on these evil-hearted criminals will soothe the bereaved hearts of the believers and those fighting in the cause of God.

Upon the permission of God and with your wise guidance, the blood of these martyrs will further strengthen the blessed resistance movement and will speed up the countdown for annihilation of the arrogant powers.
