Hawzah News Agency - (Kabardino-Balkaria - Russia) - The district round of the intellectual game “Brain Ring” dedicated to the theme “Islam is the religion of peace” was held last week in the mosque of Baksan in Kabardino-Balkaria, the website of Muslim Religious Administration of the republic reports.

The parishioners of mosques and students of Sunday schools of the city competed it the contest which was aimed at spiritual and moral education, and covered history of the Islamic religion and its values.

The jury consisted of the deputy mufti of Kabardino-Balkaria Alim Sizhazhev and the head of the republican youth club “Friendly Caucasus” Murat Hadzhiev.

This project has been implemented by Muslim Religious Administration of Kabardino-Balkaria with the support of the Ministry for Cooperation with Civil Society Institutions and Nationalities of Kabardino-Balkaria for several years. 

The project is aimed at spreading the knowledge preventing extremism and terrorism, as well as interfaith and state-religious relations in Kabardino-Balkaria.

The same round of the game “Brain Ring” was held last week in the mosque of Prohladny that gathered the parishioners of mosques and students of Sunday schools of Prohladnensky district.
