The enemy is suffering from Muslim unity and is trying through various ways and means to divide Muslims

The above was stated by Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi at a gathering of Sunni pilgrims who came to visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) on foot.

Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - The above was stated by Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi at a gathering of Sunni pilgrims who came to visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) on foot. “The Sunni elders, sheiks and Hadith scholars were devoted to the Infallible Imams (AS).”

He added: “Some say on-foot procession for pilgrimage has no place in Sunni narrative, and they are working hard to undermine value of this gathering. However, the same people do not say a word about the crimes when Yemen’s oppressed Muslims are bombarded by Saudi government. Is it not forbidden to kill Muslims, according to the Holy Quran?”

He then pointed out that love for the Infallible Imams does not belong solely to the Shia and all Islamic sects with long and brilliant history are fond of them and visit their holy shrines. “True Muslims are different from the British-made sects created to divide Muslim ummah. They have no belief in the Prophet (pbuh), his household and the Almighty God.”

Hoj. Marvi called the Infallible Imams, a source of unity and solidarity of Muslims which prevents Shia-Sunni split.

“The enemy knows how the Prophet (pbuh) united the people amidst growing schism and ignorance and turned them into knowledgeable and unified ummah, creating greatest human civilization,” he remarked.

Pointing to the policy of divide and rule and quoting former US President Nixon’s endorsement of this policy in his book of memories, Hoj. Marvi placed emphasis on taking further steps for boosting unity and amity between Sunni and Shia Muslims.
