Hawzah News Agency - (Tehran - Iran) - According to the report of al-Nujaba’s Centre for Relations and Media Affairs in Iran, on Monday evening, al-Nujaba’s spokesman met and talked to the supreme leader’s advisor on the international affairs.
In the course of the visit, engineer Nasr ash-Shimmari, appreciating Iran’s supports, said, “The children of the Resistance regard themselves indebted to the Islamic republic and applaud the honourable positions adopted by Iran and the supreme leader.”
Congratulating Iran’s victories achieved in the confrontation with the arrogant powers, he maintained, “The achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the head of the Resistance Front, made the Muslims of the world feel pride and power and enabled them to regain their dignity.”
Saying that the obedience to the Guardian of the Islamic Jurist is a religious obligation rendering the man close to Heaven, al-Nujaba’s spokesman added, “With regard to the shared beliefs, and as we both follow the sources of emulation, Iraq won’t join the anti-Iran axis in spite of all the pressures of the US,.”
Ash-Shimmari explicated, “Any anti-Iran government in Iraq will be toppled by the Iraqi people. Now, the US is known to all, and even some politicians who are US allies are keeping away from them.”
“Iraq will never be the base of the US or other countries for targeting Iran and we strongly stand against this project. No country can sever the close brotherhood links between Iran and Iraq”, He pointed out.
The deputy secretary-general of al-Nujaba further noted, “Some Iraqi media, that are affiliated with Saudi Arabia and the US embassy, following the downing of the US drone by Iran, were deeply shocked and silenced for a long time, as they weren’t even able to broadcast canards in this regard.”
Finally, engineer Nasr ash-Shimmari heartily stated, “Dr Velayati is a prominent Iranian politician, and the Iraqi nation sees him a popular figure.”
It is necessary to note that following the meeting, a short new conference was held for Dr Velayati and engineer Nasr ash-Shimmari.
