The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on Monday, prayed over Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, the commander of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and his martyred companions at the University of Tehran.

The farewell ceremony of Lieutenant General Soleimani and his martyred companions kicked off hours ago with the recitation of the Holy Quran in Tehran.

Millions of Iranian people, who have always been on the scene, flooded the streets of Tehran hours before the commemoration of the martyrs of resistance began.

After the prayer, the Funeral ceremony of martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani is being held from Enghelab Square to Azadi Square. Then his body will be moved to the city of Qom for another procession.

The burial ceremony of this great commander of Islam is scheduled to be held in Kerman on Tuesday.
