Turkish students visit Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine

On the sideline of his visit, Adam Namli, the group’s leader, said: “Imam Reza’s (AS) holy shrine is a very sacred place full of spirituality.”.

Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - Concurrent with mourning days of Muharram, 60 Muslim students from different Turkish universities have paid a visit to Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine and participated in its mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussain’s (AS) martyrdom. 

On the sideline of his visit, Adam Namli, the group’s leader, said: “Imam Reza’s (AS) holy shrine is a very sacred place full of spirituality and participation in mourning ceremonies at this holy shrine was a great opportunity and success for all group members”.

The Turkish-speaking pilgrim added: “Pilgrimages of this kind enlighten man’s heart. My friend and I learnt a lot and hope for another pilgrimage in Mashhad in the near future”.

Referring to the group’s visit to the Central Library and Quran museums of the complex, he said: “Astan Quds Razavi’s museums attracted me a lot since they are putting on display many precious and historical objects created by Muslim artists”.
