Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) - According to the report of al-Nujaba’s Centre for Relations and Media Affairs in Iran, the chairman of the Iranian Parliament's Commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy, in the session with the official spokesman of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance, pointed to the bravery of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (IPMF), and then stated, ''The Iraqi Resistance acted doughty during the battle against the ISIS. Within the IPMF, these forces not only stood against a Takfiri group, the ISIS, but also against the whole oppression system.''
Stressing that the ISIS was created by the evil triangle of the US-UK and Saudi, Hujjat al-Islam Zonnoori reminisced, “Wherever the ISIS was besieged, the Americans targeted the positions of the Iraqi forces.”
Mentioning that a policy of the US is provoking divisions among different countries and religions, he added, “Shias of different countries are proud that they weren’t beguiled by the US and were not employed as stooges. The wisdom and unity of the Shias, more than that of the Sunni, worries the US. The message of the revolution and Shia is the unity among all Muslims and the rescue of humanity."
The member of the parliament further noted, ''Americans have attained nothing but failure up to now. Trump acknowledged that, despite spending ۷ trillion Dollar in the region, especially in Iraq, he had to travel to Iraq at night and secretly.''
Zonnoori stated, ''The recent action of our country, having filled the hearts of Resistance forces with hope and joy, is a part of Iran’s power. The US drone was produced using the most advanced technologies, however, Iran Air Defence Force targeted it. Third Khordad Air Defence System was created by the IRGC Areospace Force, an operational force and not a research one. The products of the IRGC and the Army in defence and self-sufficiency areas are highly advanced.''
Describing the response of Iran to enemy's actions as proportionate to what they do, he said, “Following the downing of the US drone, in a ۱۰۰-minute session, Trump and his advisers concluded that they should strike three points in Iran. But, nonetheless, they announced that they had changed their minds as ۱۵۰ Iranian people would have been killed if they had attacked. And Trump abstained from saying that if Iran responded to their possible attack, ۱۵ thousand Americans would be killed.''
The chairman of the Parliament’s Commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy continued, ''Iran has reached a level of deterrence about which the supreme leader said, “The time of targeting and escaping has ended!” More important that the military deterrence is the soft and spiritual deterrence. The solidarity of Shia and Revolution, together with their spiritual penetration into the nations of the region, forms the soft power of the state. Enemies fear both the military and soft power of Iran.”
Hujjat al-Islam Zonnoori reiterated, ''The omission of the Resistance from the region is impossible and we all should move under the flag of the sources of emulation and the supreme leader. The supreme leader highly esteems Ayatollah Sistani and this state of unity and solidarity hasn’t been troubled yet.''
Finally, addressing engineer Nasr ash-Shimmari, he explicated, ''Be cautious! The enemy attempts to provoke division and differences among the Shiites groups, and it tries to incense the Sunni. Foster the faith and wisdom of the Resistance forces. Here in Iran, we employ all the potentials of the Islamic Consultative Assembly to help the Resistance Forces.''
