Islamic Revolution has support of Iranians from all walks of life: Hakim

Head of the National Wisdom Movement of Iraq, Ammar Hakim said here on Tuesday that the Islamic Revolution relied on Iranian people from all walks of life. 'This revolution offered a broad plan for managing the country, forging unity and solidarity among people of all strata in society and defending Islamic ideals, especially the Palestinian cause,' the statement read.

Hawzah News Agency (Baghdad, Iraq) - In a statement, Hakim congratulated the 40th anniversary of victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution under the late Imam Khomeini's leadership.

Hailing Islamic Revolution's prominent characteristics, he added amid the existence of leftist and rightist trends, the religious authority managed to lead country's Revolution. 

 



He also described the Islamic Revolution as a 'national and peaceful' movement, adding that it was totally a popular revolution that relied on its nation, not limited to elites, and did not ask for foreign powers' assistance. 

'This revolution offered a broad plan for managing the country, forging unity and solidarity among people of all strata in society and defending Islamic ideals, especially the Palestinian cause,' the statement read.

 



Hakim in the statement also wished success and prosperity for Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and Muslim people of Iran.
