Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) - Missile attack on Daesh (ISIS) in Syria's eastern region was a message to terrorists about Iran's power and its ability to provide security in the region, Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers Leader Kazem Seddiqi said in his sermon.

He referred to Iran's missile attacks on terrorists' bases both in Iraq and Syria and noted that through the missile attacks, Iran send a message to terrorists' sponsors about the consequences of their conspiracies.

At least 25 people, including women and children, were martyred and more than 60 others injured during September 22 terror attack in Ahvaz which took place during a military parade held to mark the 38th anniversary of the eight-year (1980-88) war imposed on Iran. The self-proclaimed Saudi-affiliated Al-Ahwaz terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack .In reaction, Iran attacked the terrorists' base east of Syria.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader welcomed return of stability to Iran's forex market and noted that the temporary surge in the currency market was the result of enemies' conspiracies.

He urged the government to keep the value of national money against foreign currencies.

Commenting on the US President Donald Trump's anti-Iranian remarks, he said that the Iranian nation will deal a huge blow to the US again.

The US president mounted pressure on Iran and on May 8 announced that Washington would withdraw from Iran's nuclear deal and re-impose nuclear-related sanctions on the country.

This is while most world powers, including Russia, China, and the European Union, have repeatedly stressed that keeping the deal is in the interest of the world peace and security.
