Hawzah News  Agency (Tehran, Iran) - Speaking at Shahid Beheshti Mosque in Tehran, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad-Mahdi Mandegari, a renowned teacher in the Islamic Seminary, said, “The enemies’ new plan is that they want to take time so that Iran is both sanctioned and has no nuclear program.”

The renowned Iranian lecturer added that the enemies have even created a deceptive war between them so that they can say that there are differences between Europe and the United States but, despite all the plots, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, realized their plots. 

“In his speech of the anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeyni, [Ayatollah Khamenei] ordered the inauguration of the country’s nuclear program and destroyed the plots of the enemies,” he said.

Expressing that the favour and assistance of Imam al-Mahdi is in the words of the Supreme Leader, he said, “In the Era of the Occultation, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution is the proof of Imam al-Mahdi over the Muslims and Imam al-Mahdi is the proof of God over the people. Therefore, obedience to them is obligatory for all people.”

Hujjat al-Islam Mandegari referred to the psychological warfare by the enemies against the Iranian people, said, “At present, the enemies, by creating a psychological war against the Iranian people, intend to turn the country’s strengths, including its nuclear capabilities, military bases and missiles, defensive strength and regional status, into points of disagreement and internal division so that the people say that these capabilities are not essential or necessary for the country.”

His Eminence stressed that the people and the wise government didn’t set aside their strengths and said, “One of the main objectives of the enemies is to create despair among the Iranian people. The Supreme Leader referred to divine assistance in his statements and this victory will be fulfilled when we stand firmly upon our promises and covenants and this is a divine promise and there is no violation in this case.”

He said that the choosing of divine leader was from the area of the Lord and said, “God chooses, supports and assists the divine guardian and we also have the duty of obeying and obeying guardianship.”

Stating that the people must have a Quranic view of guardianship so that God will be content with them, Hujjat al-Islam Mandegari said, “God says, ‘The Friend of God is above all believers.’ The pious accept the right of the priority of the Friend of God and this is the sign of faith. For this reason, every action that man does must be done with the consent of God.” 

The renowned teacher in the Islamic Seminary acknowledged the right to knowledge is another one of the rights of the Friend of God and stated, “In the right to knowledge, man doesn’t consider anyone more aware than the Friend of God. For the past forty years, it has been proven to everyone that all the advice and recommendations of the Supreme Leader were correct and timely.”

Referring to the negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries over Iran’s nuclear issue, he said, “An example of this is the trust in the United States. From the very beginning he said ‘we don’t trust the United States’ but some who trusted in the enemies wanted to negotiate [with the West] but today, they realized that this trust was wrong.”

Regarding the conflict between Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah’s and the Zionist regime, the renowned scholar said that the enemies prohibited him from this war, but the Supreme Leader command him to fight Zionist regime and a result of this was the [2006] 33-Day War and the scandalous defeat of the Zionist regime by the small paramilitary group, Hezbollah. 

“This victory was the result of their adherence to guardianship,” he added.

Hujjat al-Islam Mandegari said, “For many years, the Supreme Leader has designated an economic issue as the slogan of the year. He realized the global economic crisis much earlier than everyone else. For this reason, if the authorities implement the slogan of the Supreme Leader from the beginning, we wouldn’t be facing an economic crisis today.”

He emphasized that all people must surrender against the word of the Friend of God and noted, “The Friend of God is chosen by Imam al-Mahdi and all the people have a duty to be satisfied with this choice.”
