The chairman of al-Nujaba’s political Board

Talking to “Sobhe No” newspaper, al-Asadi enumerated the advantages of the 10-article order issued by the Iraqi prime minister and then stressed that merging the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (IPMF) with the army is not consistent with the security requirements. "The foreign media, distributing such gossip have attempted to poison the atmosphere for the public thought so that the enemies of Iraq and the IPMF can meet their aims."

Hawzah News Agency (Baghdad, Iraq) –The chairman of al-Nujaba’s Political Board, in a specific talk, answered the questions of Sobhe No paper.

Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Asadi, concerning the doubts and gossip on the 10-article order of the Iraqi prime minister on the linking the IPMF with the Iraqi army, stated, "The order of the prime minister is about the organization of the affairs; however many media misinterpreted it as the instruction on merging they said forces. It is also possible that they said media, having some other purposes, deliberately misinterpreted the order!"

He explicated, "Anyway, in our opinion, merging is not good for the country and it is inconsistent with the security requirement of the state."

The chairman of al-Nujaba's Political Board then added, "The first reason for what mentioned is that the IPMF was formed due to the Fatwa of the religious sources of emulation and faith/belief of the combatants, and thus, it should be preserved, as it managed to defeat the most appalling terrorist group in the world that was backed up by the arrogant powers."

Al-Asadi continued, "The second reason is that the military organization of the state needs to undergo some changes, for instance, the remnants of the Batth-Saddam regime who seek to return the country to its former state should be fired. As an example, the treason of an Iraqi army officer has recently been divulged. Therefore the combatants can’t be considered enjoying full security in the presence of such criminals."

Once again stressing that "The order of the prime minister is not on merging the IPMF with the army", he reiterated, "The foreign media, distributing such gossip have attempted to poison the atmosphere for the public thought so that the enemies of Iraq and the IPMF can meet their aims."

The top-rank member of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance, describing the order of Mr Adel Abd al-Mahdi as having some benefits for the IPMF, maintained, "Some issues dealt with by the order benefit the IPMF, they include, the protection of the rights of the combatants, martyrs and the wounded forces of the IPMF the same as those of other security organizations, arrangement of the military activities of the IPMF in terms of training and equipment, as well as firing the corrupt members who abuse this sacred name."

Finally, Sheikh Ali al-Asadi reminded, "It is necessary to note that Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis (deputy commander of the IPMF) almost a year ago issued the same orders and they have been executed up to this point.
