Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - The director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran said that the enemies have reached a dead end in their actions against Islamic Iran and said, “The authorities are not afraid of resistance against the enemies.”
Speaking at a commemoration at Qom’s Feyziyeh Seminary marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq and the anniversary of the attack by the Pahlavi regime on this famous seminary on March 22, 1963, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi posed the question “What is the reason for naming the Shia school of thought ‘Ja’fari Shia’ and responded, “More than one hundred thousand hadiths (narrations) from the Imams and the Holy Prophet [Muhammad] have reached us of which over thirty-eight thousand narrations are related to Imam al-Sadiq.”
The director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran added, “The number of the students of Imam al- Sadiq has been stated as more than four thousand individuals and more than two thousand individuals have narrated his narrations and this is the legacy of Imam al-Sadiq in regard to whom the Ja’fari school of thought has been named after. If we put all of the narrations of the other Imams alongside each other, we can say that all of the moral, jurisprudential and theological teachings are found in the words of Imam al-Sadiq. Of course this is an exaggeration but it is not far from reality.”
Referring to the situation during the Imamate of Imam al-Sadiq, he stated, “Today, in the light of the Islamic Revolution, we are facing a special situation wherein we must be determined like Imam al-Sadiq was in order to convey the treasures of the knowledge of Imam al-Sadiq, Imam al-Baqir and the Family of the Prophet to the world today.”
Ayatollah Arafi stressed, “Today, unfortunately, the satanic army and traitors of history have come to the battlefield against you, the great people, and the Islamic Resistance Front. All the acts of treachery, threats and sanctions are meant to silence the voices of Feyziyeh and the Islamic Revolution.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom addressed the enemies of the Iranian people and the Islamic Resistance and said, “You have come to sanction the Iranian people, threaten the Islamic Resistance Front and persuade the mercenaries to fight against the values. You think that such works are successful and you will succeed?!”
His Eminence continued, “You have come to hold a conference in Manama to exonerate Israel as the enemy of the Messenger of God and the Islamic Ummah. There is a stain of disgrace on you Arab mercenary leaders and affiliates of the arrogant powers who have exonerated Israel in such a manner that an American official says the words of the Arab leaders are greater than the words of Netanyahu. Fie upon you! You have risen in war against the Messenger of God and the entire Islamic Ummah. God’s curse on you, Oh traitors!”
