Hawzah News Agency - The House of Saud arrested Sheikh Abd al-Latif an-Naser, a Shia clergyman together with his family in the Eastern province.
The Saudi officials arrested a Shia clergyman, Sheikh Abd al-Latif an-Naser in ad-Damam, al-Alhsa region.
As reported by al-Ahd news website, Sheikh Abd al-Latif an-Naser together with his family was arrested by Saudi security forces arbitrarily.
The said arrest is done following the cruelty towards the Shia residents of the Eastern province.
Sheikh Abd al-Latif an-Naser and his family are still in jail. Shia make 10-15 per cent of the Saudi population, including the majority of 12 Imam Shia and the minority of Ismaeili Shia.
The Shiite residents of the Eastern province are both suffering deprivation and wronged by the Saudi security forces.
