Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) - Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati through his preorder speech in the session of the Council, expressing condolences over the martyrdom of Imam Sadeq (a.s.), Shahid Beheshti and his colleagues, said, "The Islamic Revolution has stood against the pressures of the US for 40 years, it will follow this path firmly, and the stupid president of the US can do nothing but imposing new sanctions against Iran. Nonetheless, the sanctions of the US against the top-rank officials of our country are propaganda and are not efficacious to hamper the advances of the Iranian people".

The secretary of the Guardian Council added, "I am wondering why some European countries are silent over what Trump does, though they claim to be independent."

He asked the executive officials of the country to stand against the unilateralism and bullying of the US through wisdom and cooperation with the independent countries such as Russia, China and India.

Finally, the secretary of the Guardian Council pointed to the Deal of the Century, arranged by the US and the Zionist Regime, and pointed out, "Definitely the world of Islam, specifically the Resistance Front, will frustrate this project through vigilance."
