Hawzah News Agency (Tehran - Iran) - The head of the National Security Commission said that the lives of the foreigners in the Middle East are seasonal and will soon be destroyed and added, “The Islamic Republic of Iran is the pillar of the reliance for the guarantee of security in the region.”
Hujjat al-Islam Mojtaba Zonnour, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly Agency, referred to the brave action by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in shooting down of an American drone on June 20th and said, “This courageous action by the children of the Imam [Khomeyni] and the nation in the IRGC, in addition to provoking a wave of dignity, pride and joy in the Iranian people, provided many messages to his enemies and friends.”
The representative of the people of Qom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly referred to the powerful action of the IRGC against the evil and arrogant powers, saying, “Today, as the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] has emphasized, ‘the era of hit-and-run has come to an end.’ The Supreme Leader has complete awareness and consciously supports the Iranian military’s deterrent power.”
He pointed out, “I would like to convey to the honourable nation of Iran that the American drone was targeted precisely at a point and was downed. In 1988, the United States downed an Airbus owned by Iran [Iran Air Flight 655] and killed 290 people. As the Supreme Leader said, ‘the era of hit-and-run has come to an end.’ The enemies must know that the downing of the American drone is only one aspect of Iran’s military and deterrent capabilities.”
Hujjat al-Islam Zonnour continued, “The liberation movements and the oppressed and Muslim people of the region who were humiliated and debased by the dominance of foreign powers and were upset by the wretchedness, cowardice and villainy of the dependent rulers and have also been damaged by the proxy wars of the hegemonic system, who are involved through their mercenaries in the region, are happy and proud to be in communication with the system of the Islamic Republic which is a source of pride and development.”
The head of the clerical faction in the Islamic Consultative Assembly referred to the significance of this brave action by the IRGC for the countries that have fallen victim to the false fears of the Islamic Republic due to the mistakes and deception of the enemies’ psychological operations and said, “These countries know that the Islamic Republic is powerful and if they have a relationship with it, they will not be harmed, but if they want to be dependent on foreigners, they will be harmed.”
He emphasized that the lives of foreigners in the region are seasonal and they will soon be destroyed and added, “The Islamic Republic isn’t a threat for any region in the region but rather it’s a pillar of support for the security of the region.”
