 Attackers destroy Qurans, break windows at ۲ mosques in Germany

Two mosques in Germany were separately attacked by unidentified perpetrators in the states of Hesse and Bremen over the weekend. Pictures from the scene show that vandals smashed the windows with stones at the Central Kassel Mosque. There were no reports of any casualties.

Hawzah News Agency (Berlin, Germany) - A central mosque in the German city of Kassel belonging to the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs in Hesse and the Rahman Mosque in Bremen were the targets of the malicious attacks, Yeni Safak reported.

Many pages of the holy Quran copies were torn and scattered on the floor at the Rahman Mosque.

 

 

Pictures from the scene show that vandals smashed the windows with stones at the Central Kassel Mosque.

Seyfettin Eryoruk, the head of the Kassel Central Mosque foundation, said that the attack was carried out early in the morning before prayers had started.

 

 

Prosecutors launched an investigation into the incidents, according to reports.

There were no reports of any casualties.
