Hawzah News Agency (Oxford, UK) –  Thieves smashed their way through a window into Oxford Central Mosque this morning and stole a safe, a mobile phone and a hard drive.

The burglars searched the office in the Mosque, on Manzil Way, Oxford, before leaving with the items.

The safe was later found in South Park in East Oxford and had not been opened.

Police say the break-in happened between 4:30am and 10am.

Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to call their office.
