Hawzah News Agency (Preston, UK) – To mark the nationwide ‘Visit My Mosque’ Day a group of Muslims took Islam out of a city mosque and into a care home.

Tom Finney Care Home was visited by The Light Foundation during Sunday.

Led by Nadeem Ashfaq the group brought sweets, treats and conversation to the residence off Flintoff Way.

Nadeem said: “We met with some inspiring, brave and wonderful people.

“Islam teaches that we should serve our community with sincerity and humility.

“During the afternoon tea and biscuits we chatted with all those there.

“People seemed delighted with our visit.”
