Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad, Iran) - On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the glorious victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, a great number of servants, pilgrims and neighbors of the eighth Imam of Shia (AS) participated in the rally of February 11th in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad and after walking over the path of the rally, attended the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

The officials and servants of the holy shrine also attended the rally along with the people toward the shrine, welcoming the participants with rosewater spray and incense afterwards.

After the rally, the participants met at the Imam Khomeini Portico.

The special speaker of the February 11th rally in Mashhad was Hoj. Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, the general custodian of Astan Quds Razavi.

“Desperate with military and soft wars, the enemies seek to deform the Islamic Republic through a combination of their previous measures.”

He then stated that “being afraid of foreign powers” is the challenge of the country’s management, adding that we should not “allow the foreign powers to threaten us,” and that resistance is the only rational way to overcome the hardships such as anti-Iran sanctions.
