 Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi said: Iraq needs some devout and schooled officials who fight the intellectual terrorism

The secretary general of al-Nujaba, visiting Barham Salih, described Iraq in need of some devout and schooled officials and then stated, “after the defeat of terrorism in the battle field, the intellectual, cultural and security terrorism should be defeated”.

Hawzah News Agency (Baghdad, Iraq) - According to the report of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Centre for Relations and Media Affairs based in Iran, the secretary general of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance, “Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi” visited and talked to “Barham Salih” in “as-Salam Palace” in Baghdad Green Zone.

Congratulating Dr Salih on his election as the Iraqi president, al-Nujaba secretary general said, “now you have a heavy and important responsibility towards God and the Iraqi nation and from now on, the obstacles before the Iraqi people should be removed and their conditions should be improved”.

Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi described the presidency as “a duty and not a superiority” and then added, “Iraq needs devout and schooled officials who after the defeat of terrorism in battle field, fight against the intellectual, cultural and security terrorism”.

He also stressed that the new government should determine its priorities, use all the means for provision of services and change the living conditions of the Iraqi people.

Then, affirming the statements made by al-Nujaba secretary general and the right demands of the Iraqi people, the Iraqi president said, “putting an end to all sides of terrorism, quick move towards reforms and providing the Iraqi people with services are definitely among the plans of the new government”.

Stressing the participatory and cooperative spirit, Barham Salih pointed out, “all should help the new government it changes the current status of the state”.

Finally he appreciated the part played by al-Nujaba in the establishment of security and stability across Iraq and then he described the Jihadi moves of the Movement as “sacrifice”.
