Hawzah News Agency (Bushehr, Iran) – Hujjat al-Islam Ali Azarsab, today at a meeting with the directors and deputies of the Hawzah Ilmiyya (Islamic Seminary) of the province of Bushehr, announced holding the annual Quran and Nahj al-Balaghah memorizing test and said: “10 Talaba (Islamic students) from the Hawzah Ilmiyya of the province, participated in this test, in the categories of memorizing complete, half and one third of the Qur'an.”

Moral refinement of Islamic seminary of Bushehr added: “Of the 10 participants in this test, three memorized complete, two memorized half of Qur'an, and five memorized one-third of Qur'an.”

Referring to the details of the annual Quran and Nahj al-Balaghah memorizing test, he said: “This test was conducted in both written and oral version, and that writing section included quality of memorizing and concepts, so if a participant earns a score of 85 in the written version, he would be exempted from oral test.”

Hujjat al-Islam Ali Azarsab added: “This test will hold annually

and the benefits awarded to Qur'an's memorizers depend on the volunteering participation every year.”

It should be noted that there are two Qur'anic Seminaries in the Bushehr province in the cities of Bushehr and Kangan, which has 55 students who simultaneously study Qur'an and Islamic Science in these two schools. And upon completion of level one they will achieve the memorization of the entire Quran.

According to this official, promotion of the tuition of the Supreme Leader and some other great Marja, benefiting from the facilities of the provincial, educational and propogation institutions and also the special privilege of transferring from their city to the Islamic Seminary of Qom, are the benefits of this test.
