When Imam Reza (A.S.) Relaxes Tourists’ hearts

As it is very lovely for Iranians and a shelter for all the public and Shia people, Razavi illuminated Shrine has, in most cases, the same attraction for the foreign tourists and visitors. As it has been acknowledged by most foreign travelers, Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine relaxes visitors’ hearts as well as providing glory and beautiful architecture and arts for them.

Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad, Iran) - According to Astan News reporter, “Yurgin Yourfsky”, tourism activist and Russian orientalist, who is paying a visit to Iran with his family has got the same idea. Regarding this trip, he says, "It is now two weeks that we are in Iran and we have visited Tabriz, Urmia, and Isfahan. We have enjoyed tourist and natural attractions of these cities".
He added, "Iranian people are very diverse in terms of ethnicity and each of these groups has got their own customs. Honestly speaking, I have to say that this people enjoy rich culture and there is now doubt that hospitality and kindness have mixed with their moods".
Yourfsky went on to say, "I have visited Iran five times and Mashhad two times up to now. I suggest Mashhad as a very good tourist destination to other tourists".
This tourist described his feeling about his presence at Razavi Holy Shrine as follows, "This kind of spirituality cannot be found and experienced in Russia. Describing spiritual and mystic sense of this holy place is very difficult".
He stated, "I am familiar with salient Shia figures and have had some studying about them. I have also heard about these people’s virtues and miracles. It should really be said that like deep character of this people, describing this place in a few sentences is really difficult. Brief description of them is not fair at all".
This Russian orientalist added, "All moments of my presence in this place are relaxing and I like to come back to Mashhad once more".

We Liked Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine More than Other Places
Samuel Lozarofsky is another tourist who introduced Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine as a symbol of architecture, religion, and spirituality. He said, "The architecture of this place provides the visitor with a beautiful sight in way that he can spend hours to visit it and to write lots of article on it".
He introduced interest in Islamic culture and art as the main reason behind his second visit to Mashhad and added, "Razavi Holy Shrine is considered as a complete complex of world’s Islamic arts in terms of applied arts and architecture".
He said, "Iran’s attractions may be appropriate for every tourist; for me, however, being present in Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine and observing art and history is the best part of my trip to Iran".
Also, Susan Hunter who is visiting Iran for the first time introduced this country as a civilized and cultured land and says, "I had a very different view point about Iran before my trip to this county. I never thought Iran has got this large number of beautiful landscapes; traveling to Iran made my image of Iran different".
He continues, "I visited Isfahan, Shiraz, Tehran, and Mashhad during this trip and found their historical and tourist places attractive. Because of time shortages we were not able to visit all tourist attractions of the city".
It is worth mentioning that based on a program provisioned by Astan Quds Razavi’s management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims for foreign tourists and visitors, this group visited central museum and library in addition to visiting sacred premises of the Razavi complex.
