Founder of Shia Islamic centers in Europe passed away / pics

Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Safar Joushghun, Friday Imam and the head of the Islamic Center of Imam Ja'far Sadiq (A.S.) in Germany, passed away.

Hawzah News Agency (Berlin, Germany) –Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Safar Joushghun, Friday Imam and the head of the Islamic Center of Imam Ja'far Sadiq (A.S.) in Germany, passed away. 

He founded the Islamic Center of Imam Ja'far Sadiq (A.S.) 35 years ago in the city of Berlin, Germany. He was the founder of numerous Islamic centers in Western European countries - such as Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria. 

Hujjat al-Islam Joushghun was a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt World Assembly from Germany from the beginning. 

He was also the founder of the "Union of European AhlulBayt Scholars" and spent his life in publishing and promoting a rich culture of Shi'ism and promoting the rich values and culture of AhlulBayt (A.S.). 

The late Sheikh Safar Joushghun was educated in the seminary of Najaf and Qom and was the first translator of Imam Khomeini's Tawdih al-masa'il in Turkish. 

The late Sheikh Safar Joushghun will be buried on Friday, July 13 in Berlin. 

Ayatollah Abdolhamid Bonabeh, representative of the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt World Assembly led the funeral prayer.
