Hawzah News Agency (Sanandaj, Iran) - Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari, head of the University of Islamic Denominations, attended the graduation ceremony of 20 students in Sanandaj branch of the academy counted acknowledgment, enlightenment of the younger generation towards message of Islam and Qur'an and also confrontation with extremism as the objectives for launching the university.
Prominent cleric hailed the University of Islamic Denominations as a result of high thoughts by the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic and said, "The university aims for proximity of thoughts from different Islamic denominations" stressing the high capabilities of the academy to set a good example for ideological supports to boost Islamic solidarity.
Head of the University of Islamic Denominations highlighted coexistence and understanding ideologies of other denominations and also providing grounds for dialogue as capacities within reach at this center.
He rejected the University of Islamic Denomination as a mosque or temple in order that a special group expresses its views rather," It is a hub for theorization."
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari highlighted the capabilities of Sanandaj branch to turn into an international university calling for recruitment of more instructors and launching new educational atmospheres."
An affiliate of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, University of Islamic Denominations was launched for scholars from different Islamic denominations to discuss their views in a shared atmosphere and exchange views in a bid to boost solidarity among Muslims.
