Exquisite works presented to the Supreme Leader by Asian officials were welcomed at Astan Quds Razavi’s museums

Head of Research and Introducing Razavi works office said, "Works presented to the Supreme Leader by the officials of Central and Eastern Asia have been welcomed by the visitors at Astan Quds Razavi's museums".

Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad, Iran) - Javad Farahmand Nejad referred to some of the existing works at Astan Quds Razavi's museums and said, "The image of the Supreme Leader woven on a rug with the size of 208×131 cm is one of the works dedicated by the Azerbaijani president Heydar Aliyev in 1993". 


Bird, shell and flower mosaic tableau in 100 cm length and 44 cm width offered by Hu jintao, Chinese former president, and the image tableau of the Supreme Leader made up of stone powder with the size of 67×59 cm offered by Kim Il-Sung, North Korean former leader were some other works offered by Farahmand Nejad. 

 


Farahmand Nejad also referred to a netted Qur'an bookrack made up of monolith marble and said, "This piece has been dedicated by the Indian president".


He went on to say, "Also, a Beidari copper plate on which the word Allah has been carved and around which Tohid Surah has also been carved is another work offered by the Indian former prime minister. The diameter of this plate was 24 cm". 

 


Head of Research and Introducing Razavi works Office at Astan Quds Razavi’s museums introduced hand-woven garment tableau as another exquisite work of the offered collection and said, “This piece of work was offered to the Supreme Leader by Abdullah Ahmad Badawi Malaysian prime minister in 1384/ 2005". This work was made up of gold thread.


Javad Farahmand Nejad also referred to other offered works in museums of Astan Quds Razavi and said, "The Torkman rug with the design of four frames offered to the Islamic Revolution’s leader by the Saparmurat Niyazov, Turkmenistan’s president, in 1378/ 1999 was one of these works. The size of this rug was 264 × 156". 

 


Two-eagle golden desktop sculptures with a stone base offered by Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan president, a pair of painted Chinese vases offered by Thailand’s president, and a tableau with an outstanding image of a building on a golden plate in 44×34 cm offered by the Vietnam president are other precious works of the collection. 


Also, the painting tableau of horse riders offered by the Mongolian president, painting tableau of nature presented by the Bangladeshi prime minister and the memorial plate of the Indonesian president were other dedicated works by officials of Central and Eastern Asia which was referred to by him.

 

 
It is worth mentioning that all the aforementioned works are in public display in museum of Qur'an and Supreme Leader’s gifts and pilgrims and citizens can visit the pieces every day since 8 to 12:30. The museum is located at Kouthar Courtyard.
