The plans of the country must be based on the axis of Wilayat al-Faqih

The revered source of emulation emphasized the role of Wilayat al-Faqih in all the movements and speeches in Iran and described the introduction of the Islamic Revolution to the people as one of the duties of missionaries.

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) - Grand Ayatollah Hossein Nouri-Hamadani met with a group of elite preachers at the Islamic Propaganda Department of the Islamic Seminary and pointing out the importance of missionary work, said, "In Islam, there is no group which is as praised as much the clergy and the scholars and the duties that are the responsibility of the scholars are heavier than the duties of others and these dutues have become heavier after the Islamic Revolution."

The revered source of emulation added, "Missionary work is a continuation of the work of the prophets and the honour of the missionaries is that they are diligent in reviving the commands of the Ahlul-Bayt(p.b.u.t.)."

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani considered having good ethics as one of the important requirements of effective missionary work and noted, “More than speaking, ethics has an influence and if the people witness ethical actions and modest encounters from the missionaries, along with kindness, their impact will be greater."

The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom explained, "It is necessary to pay attention to the tastes of different people from the pulpits and by paying attention to the arrangement of their content and expression, they can provide the grounds for increasing the knowledge and the insight of the people."

"Speaking articulately is another key element of successful missionary work and if one studies a lot but is not very articulate, he will not succeed and will not be effective in society," he noted.

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized, "Our main sources on the pulpit must be the Quran, Nahj al-Balaghah and Sahifah al-Sajjadiyah because using these books, which contain a sea of education and concepts, we can infuse divine teachings into our audience."

His Eminence said that the Islamic Revolution consists of three pillars – Islam, the people and Wilayat al-Faqih – and stressed, "We must try to stand alongside the people and solve their problems because these same people sacrificed their lives, blood and children for the Islamic Revolution and they must serve the people, especially the oppressed people."

"The effort to keep people on the scene is one of the most important missionary activities, because as long as people are on the scene of the Islamic Revolution, the country has power and strength," he said.

He added, "People need security, justice and an abundance of blessings and the authorities have to work to provide these three needs to the people."

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized the necessity of the centrality of Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] in Iran and said, "All speeches and movements in the country must be focused on Wilayat al-Faqih because this union is very influential and everyone must act on the basis of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution."

In conclusion, he said, "The missionaries must constantly recognize and answer the doubts expressed against Islam, the establishment and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution by the enemies."
