Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - In an interview with Hawzah News, head of seminary’s Islamic propagation and communications discussed forming of seminary’s scientific associations as well as the association of Islamic propagation and communications.
Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mohammad Wa’ez Mousavi described seminary’s scientific associations as communities to gather together the elite of seminaries and said, “According to the latest statistics, so far 19 scientific associations have been formed in Iran’s seminaries, including the newest one, the association of Islamic propagation and communications, which started to work about 3 years ago.”
Hujjat al-Islam Wa’ez Mousavi mentioned contributing to the development and deepening of Islamic sciences and humanities as the first goal of forming Islamic propagation and communications association. He described discussing the latest research achievements, dynamizing scientific relations among researchers so they get to know each others’ activities and introducing scholars and researchers in the field of propagation as other goals of this association.
The Shia cleric further stated that creating a suitable platform for delivering hardware and software achievements, improving the level of knowledge and technical skills in the areas of Islamic propagation and communication and presenting the scientific abilities of the association in order to resolve possible scientific defects are the other main goals of said association.
