 Notorious terrorist commander killed in clashes with Syrian army in Southern Damascus

Shadi Marwan al-Sa'ad, a senior commander of the Al-Nusra front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board), was killed in the Syrian Army operation in Yarmouk Refugee Camp on Monday.

Hawzah News Agency (Yarmouk, Syria) - The key Al-Nusra field commander, was killed in clashes with the army men in Sahat al-Rijeh flank in Yarmouk Refugee Camp in the Southern part of Damascus province.

In the meantime, the army soldiers managed to seize control over three buildings in Zalikheh area in al-Tazamon region after beating back the ISIL terrorists from their positions.

 

 

Also, the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft have been pounding ISIL's positions in Yarmouk Camp and Hajar al-Aswad.

Several tunnels and trenches of the terrorists have also been destroyed in the air raids in a region between al-Tazamon and Yalda regions.

 

 

Earlier reports said that the army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL South of Hajar al-Aswad from Sabineh direction and imposed full control over several areas.

Also, other units of the army managed to take control of several buildings near the road that connects al-A'alaf to al-Asali West of Hajar al-Aswad.

 

 

 

The army men inflicted major losses on the ISIL in their attacks in Qata'a al-Shohada, Share'a Yarmouk Rijeh and Share'a al-Thalthin West of Yarmouk Refuge Camp.

In the meantime, the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft pounded the movements, command and control posts and positions of the ISIL in Hajar al-Aswad region, Yarmouk camp and parts of the regions of al-Qadam and al-Tazamon, destroying several positions and killing or wounding a large number of the terrorists.
