“There are currently 35000 students studying at Al-Mustafa University branches in Iran and abroad since we are cooperating with more than 100 scientific and academic institutes around the world.” Ayatollah Arafi said.

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) – In a meeting with Afghan Science Minister at al-Mustafa University in Tehran on Monday, April 23, Head of Iranian Seminaries Ayatollah Alireza Arafi welcomed the Afghan delegation to Iran and introduced them to the educational system of seminaries in Islamic Republic of Iran saying, “There are as many as 2000 religious centers in Iran, out of which 500 belong to Sunni Muslims.”

 

The Iranian cleric further asserted that Al-Mustafa International University is regarded as a pioneer in promoting Islamic teachings and Humanities worldwide adding that more than 45000 students from as many as 130 different countries have graduated from this university so far.

 

“There are currently 35000 students studying at Al-Mustafa University branches in Iran and abroad since we are cooperating with more than 100 scientific and academic institutes around the world.” Ayatollah Arafi added.

 

“Al-Mustafa International University has signed memorandums with more than 50 universities and is a member of different International university unions.”

 

Member of Iranian Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution concluded, “Some of Al-Mustafa branches are dedicated to Sunni Muslims and in some of our branches both Shia and Sunni Muslims are studying together; this indicates the policy of Al-Mustafa University to promote Islamic unity.”
