All is set for the global free Zakzaky campaign tomorrow

Reports from different parts of the World indicate that arrangements have been concluded for the Global Free Zakzaky protests scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday 15th April 2018.

Hawzah News Agency ( Abuja, Nigeria) - The Global Protests are planned to coincide with a hundred days of continuous Free Zakzaky protests in Nigeria demanding the immediate release of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.

The protests is expected to simultaneously hold in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa among other places.

One form of protest or the other has become virtually a daily occurrence in Nigeria, especially in the nation’s capital, Abuja since the start of this year when news filtered through about the ailing health situation of the Sheikh. It emerged that he had suffered a mild stroke in detention, in addition to nursing fatal injuries inflicted on him by the rampaging soldiers almost Twenty eight months ago, for which medical care has been suboptimal. Consequently, the Sheikh has lost an eye and is at a great risk of losing the other eye if immediate measures are not provided.

Only yesterday the police moved to stop the ever growing mass of people trooping to Abuja for the protest, when they sealed up the Unity Fountain, venue of the Sit Out campaign, because the government is uncomfortable with it.

The coalition of groups that started the Sit Out campaign has vowed to continue the free Zakzaky campaign in Abuja.

End.
