Hawzah News Agency (Cairo, Egypt) – Two Russian Muslim children are in Egypt to attend Quran competitions organized by Al-Azhar Islamic Center in different parts of the Arab country. Both children are memorizers of the Quran and are currently in the governorate of Dakahlia, northeast of Cairo.
Ahmed Junaid, the head of Al-Azhar branch in the governorate, in a meeting with the kids encouraged them to continue improving their Quranic skills.
Titled "Challenge to Arabic Recitation", the Quran competitions of al-Azhar are underway in different parts of Egypt and will run until March 22.
